Nancy
McWhirter is a Principal of the Firm. She joined Romito, Tomasetti &
Associates, P.C. in 1989 as a staff accountant, became a member of
management in 2004, and was admitted as a Principal of the Firm in 2009.
Prior to joining the Firm she was a staff accountant with the international
accounting firm, PriceWaterhouseCoopers.Nancy provides a plethora of accounting and tax services for individuals and businesses in a variety of fields including physician groups, manufacturing, executive search, law firms, production companies, investment advisory firms, event security, food and beverage, public relations, photography, and real estate management. She also provides attestation services (reviews and compilations), tax compliance, and tax consulting services for employee benefit and retirement plans.
Nancy majored in accounting at Northeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also received a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Bentley College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the MSCPA Women in Accounting Committee.
Nancy’s personal interests include tennis, crossfit training, yoga, hiking and kayaking.
