Don
Tomasetti, co-founder of Romito, Tomasetti & Associates, P.C., commenced
his career in public accounting with the international firm of KPMG where
he spent thirteen years servicing clients, initially as an auditor and
later as a tax specialist and member of management.
Don is actively
involved in the management of the firm's accounting and tax practices.
He consults regularly with his clientele on various accounting and tax
matters, including financial reporting, tax and accounting aspects of
business formations, acquisitions, mergers, dispositions, and
liquidations. Don’s client
experience spans a broad range of industries, including software
development and sales, construction, personal services, brokers/dealers in
securities, hedge funds, investment advisors, manufacturing, real estate
development and management, and retail trade.
Don has also participated as a "team captain" in the peer
review program established by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants to monitor the accounting and auditing practices of its member
firms.
Don earned his Bachelor degree
in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a member of the
Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Don’s is an active tennis player
and enjoys any song performed by Frank Sinatra.
